The cautionary statement was intended for Gunsmoke which was about to start.
The Bob Bailey ones are the best Johnny Dollar episodes.
Then it makes even less sense than for “Bonanza”. “Gunsmoke” was always sympathetic towards Indians. How many times was Quint a target of prejudice? It was also always sympathetic toward other ethnic types who might show up in Dodge. The depiction of women was fairly realistic for how Old West women lived. (But it provided a highly-sanitized view of what saloon girls were about.) If the warning has to do with the level of violence acceptable in 1960s TV, the violence depicted is nowhere near as graphic as what you are likely to see in the average Lifetime movie.
XM148 is about the only reason I keep XM.
Cultural propaganda BS!
We binge watched all the Hunter episodes two years ago on youtube, then they were removed.
That warning is useful for protecting snowflakes from having their feelings hurt!
Nothing would surprise me anymore. Trying to keep from being sued or doxxed, would be my guess. Or totally “woke”.
Funny. I didn’t need those warnings when I grew up in the 70s and 80s watching all the reruns from the 50s and 60s.
That means it’s not woke enough and suitable for watching 🤪
I hadnt seen the OPs either but I too have seen one.
Whatever that “This movie has been edited to fit screen format and run time” message is had a wokester “outdated” message added to it by the violence warning.

whats needed?... a lot of men need their asses kicked but good... and for women?... well... (...and I know I’ll probably get a lot of shit for this...) ...I think it was the movie Hang’em High with Clint Eastwood. The part where the blonde purposely lays a shoulder into him as she passes him in the street. He just turns, grabs her and hauls her off into the barn and has his way with her...
All this crap because men in high positions and nothing but pu****s... and a lot of women just need to stfu and go clean the kitchen.
i think all the warnings on movies and old tv shows and old movies is just plain stupid.. but then i am an old fart who loves to see the bad guy get a good old a&& whipping by the good guy..
We clearly have way too many snowflakes.

“Snowflakes” implies that they are over-sensitive and harmless.
I think they are calculating radical progressives trying to re-engineer our society.
Several years ago my Wife gave me the whole Have Gun Will Travel series on DVD. Oh yeah, it is also about a hired vigilante and has the word Gun in the title. LOL
A good show. I haven’t seen that one for a while, so I forgot about Hey Boy. Yep, that’s bound to trigger some people. But Chinese wouldn’t have had a high position in society at that time, so the portrayal has some accuracy. If he is a sterotype, well, all forms of TV, movies, and fiction often use stereotypes —even now—because stereotypes have foundation in reality. Every stereotype works because we are familiar with people who are like the stereotype. Any thinking person knows that not all members of a group are represented by the stereotype.
“Giving heed to seducing spirits”
For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors ...
