Beware of Infrastructure Bill signing ceremony
American Thinker ^ | 15 Nov, 2021 | Deane Waldman

When the White House holds a triumphant signing ceremony today for the Biden/Pelosi Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, H.R. 3684, keep the following facts clearly in mind.

Democrats claim the bill will “supercharge the American economy and will create thousands of good jobs.” Translation: high-paying government, i.e., taxpayer paid for, jobs for Democrat supporters.

When you look beyond the title, H.R. 3684 has numerous provisions that Americans don’t want.

The bill will “restructuring the permitting process.” This is an excuse to expand an already Byzantine, massively expensive, and user-unfriendly federal bureaucracy. Permits will, of course, only go to companies favored by progressive Democrats. Recall the vendor chosen by the Obama Administration to build healthcare.gov was a Canadian company, CGI Federal, with a track record of going over budget and failing to deliver on its contracts. Democrats spent more than $2 billion for a website, that didn’t work!

There will be “more public-private partnerships,” which is code for giving hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to corporations that support the Democrat party and its candidates, not to the most efficient and lowest bidders.

And it will be years before we see any results. No shovel ready projects and lengthy clearance processes including environmental impact statements. Pouring money down a rat hole.

Will we get a new bloated department to pay for forever? They would love for us to be saddled with a Department of Transgender Education.

“And it will be years before we see any results. No shovel ready projects and lengthy clearance processes including environmental impact statements. Pouring money down a rat hole.”

I agree with this statement 100%.

However “infrastructure” is our weakest hand. It was always going peal off some Republicans.

The progressives actually want their voting fraud bills & climate change stupidity bills, & tax increase bills more than infrastructure. I read their commentary on left wing media sites, these people aren’t happy.

Infrastructure doesn’t motivate the democrat base like other issues, such as racism, sexism, environmental zealotry, tax increases etc.

The progressive media will throw some “raw vegetables” to their crazies, by ginning up some Trump is going to jail nonsense. It use to work during “Mueller time” but the natives are getting pissy and more restless.

“high-paying government, i.e., taxpayer paid for, jobs for Democrat supporters.”

This...may not work out well for the Left.
The expectation of more gov’t-paid workers presumes workers to pay.
Private business has found it difficult to attract workers, who are finding it more profitable to, well, not work.

When the proletariat go Galt, take notice.

Beware of Infrastructure Bill signing ceremony

Partner, the DemonRat party's numbers are so bad on the favorability that they have to get something going and it aint't this Infrastructure bill that got pass.

I do not think that even McConnell realizes how bad this bill really is and we will see how many shovel ready jobs we get from this bill.

We still remember ole Obama crying out how many shovel ready jobs we were going to get and we got a total of "0" shovel ready jobs but we spent $1 Trillion dollars on the bill.

The money probably went to donors of the DemonRat party and the Republicans do not even realized this Bravo Sierra by the DemonRat party.

Most of the Republicans in Congress are Assistant Democrats.

We MUST elect better Republicans.

More Rep senators (19) voted for the bill than Reps in the House(13). I blame McConnell more than McCarthy for this debacle.

Once the public knows more about what is actually in the bill that has 9% in real infrastructure and the rest for the Dem political agenda, the more heat will be put on the Reps who voted for it. The Stupid Party once again snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.

And the BBB bill may be scaled down, but it will also pass. A complete clusterfu*k.

I say "Amen" to that statement.

There will be huge red wave going across this country in 2022 and Biden has already stated this wave.

But you are 100% correct in that we must vote for "True Conservatives" to win this election cycle.
