The best example of a haka is performed by New Zealand’s rugby team, the All-Blacks. The link shows them doing one before a 2004 game against England’s team. But you don’t have to go to a rugby game to see a haka. Once I saw a YouTube video of a haka performed at a wedding. And in 2013, when BeyoncĂ© Knowles did a concert in Auckland and was greeted with a haka, the R&B singer joined in!

The haka involves a lot of facial expressions and body movements - sticking out tongues, mean wide-eyed looks, etc. Here’s a fun example - Dreamtime indigenous used paint and rhythmic stomping as an added intimidator vs Maori’s use of tatoos and body slapping (you can skip the first 30 seconds):
