(CNN)Worn out by what they see as entrenched dysfunction and lack of focus, key West Wing aides have largely thrown up their hands at Vice President Kamala Harris and her staff -- deciding there simply isn't time to deal with them right now, especially at a moment when President Joe Biden faces quickly multiplying legislative and political concerns.
The exasperation runs both ways. Interviews with nearly three dozen former and current Harris aides, administration officials, Democratic operatives, donors and outside advisers -- who spoke extensively to CNN -- reveal a complex reality inside the White House. Many in the vice president's circle fume that she's not being adequately prepared or positioned, and instead is being sidelined. The vice president herself has told several confidants she feels constrained in what she's able to do politically. And those around her remain wary of even hinting at future political ambitions, with Biden's team highly attuned to signs of disloyalty, particularly from the vice president.

One of the reasons Brandon hasn’t yet and isn’t about to exit anytime soon is because Harris as president would do incalculable and long lasting damage to the goal of a permanently installed matriarchy in the US.
Harris isn’t fit to be ambassador to Borneo let alone commander in chief. Just the thought of that is beyond ridiculous.
I’d love to know why Brandon sent (of all people) this certified moron to try and repair relations with the French. I’m sure the French, if they weren’t insulted enough by the submarine snub, were really fuming after the Vice President of the United States shows up and starts trying to communicate with her hosts in a fake French accent.

That's what being Vice President is all about. That and attending funerals, in this case hoping that the boss's will be one of them. When her response to a legitimate challenge at the border was "They're not pinning this sh*t on me!" we all got a full measure of her character. She doesn't want to do something, she wants to be given something for free.
She is a moronic airhead who only has gotten where she is by assuming the position.

CNN sees the writing on the wall and knows Biden’s drooling carcass can’t possibly run for or win re-election and also sees the train-wreck coming if Harris decides to run for the presidency in 2024. So it’s time to torpedo her and finish her off now, so Democrat primary candidates don’t need to show her any deference in 2024.
The VP presides over the Senate and can cast the tie-breaking vote for legislation that has a 50 - 50 tie.
Otherwise, like you said, they attend a lot of overseas funerals.

Throughout the article you can see that the overall hand-wringing is not how she is doing as furthering the interests of the US, but that of her career and liberal racial and gender equality political goals (in which the determining factor btwn two candidates is not that of the best ability character and,ability but the color of skin and gender).
