Strong Men and Warrior Women; Deer Season.
The Bible says “If you want to steal from a family first you must bind up the strong man of the house”. It is deer season and all across America the manly men are getting their hunting gear ready to go out into the woods to enjoy the scents of the leaves and habitat of the animals. They get into a “hunting, finding food to feed the family” mode. They know the deer signs and scrapes and rub lines. These men are admired by country women because in nature females look for the strongest male to be a good provider and pass on strong “jeans”. Men in jeans and work boots.
When one group of powerful people fears the future and wants everyone sick so they can feed themselves, they are weak. Real women feel nothing but contempt for them! The prayer warrior woman and mothers who are providing and protecting their family form a shield of faith around their family by the strongest force in the universe, which is God.
In my living room I have all kinds of wildlife imagery; mounts, paintings, statutes and carvings. I love to look at the patterns and colors and see the artistry of God. Once friends of our, a man and his wife, came to visit came to our house. They arrived late at night the man and walked into the mounted bobcat that met its demise when stealing our chickens. He yelled and punched at it. His wife asked what was happening and I said he punched our cat! “Is it alright” she asked? “No, it is dead” I replied matter of factly.
I have my Grandfather's red an black plaid hunting cap and my old fishing poles. I have artwork of country scenes. As the temperature drops, as we have started the wood burning stove and I remember diving into piles of stones to find the ones I was looking for to make the hearth. The mantel, which I found long ago during an antique hunting trip and refinished stands surrounding the stonework hearth. My son and husband cut fire wood to supplement the heat pump and I enjoy smelling the cedar and oak smoke, watching the snow fall, reading my bible knowing that my cupboards are stocked with food from the garden that we canned. As it says in Proverb 31, this woman looked well to the ways of her house hold and she is not afraid of the future because her hand worked and is held by the heart and hand of her husband and of God.
We have our farm borders posted with no trespassing signs; it is the country respect of neighbors who know that being a good neighbor is to have peace in the neighborhood. We take communion every day as we are told to declare until the lord returns that we are private property, we are Gods'. No one steals us from the hand of God.
I have stopped going to the doctor and I build up a strong immune system by natural health supplements, exercise and good food. No weapon formed against us will prosper, we are told to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. We bought an all terrain scooter so I could drive down to the frog pond and when i was driving down the hill it was getting muddy and I got scared. I asked my husband what to do? He said you have to let it go. I thought he meant the fear, but he meant to let go of the throttle lever. My wheels were spinning and I was going nowhere; that is what we are being told to believe, become hypochondriacs, afraid of getting sick. But we are the strong men and warrior women of the land, we raise our children to be healthy, we are invested in a strong America because we want our grandchildren to have a great place to live. Let no man steal your joy and the right to live to your fullest capacity.
Jesus said “I am the way the truth and the light no man comes to the Father but by me!” The woman with the issue of blood , after having spent all she had on doctors made a decision, “I will touch Jesus” and her faith made her well. She activated healing by having a strong will to seek the source of love and healing. Imagine hearing the words from the lips of the Lord Jesus: “daughter your faith has saved you, be made well!”
Tis the season. Venison!
I took a dandy 7-point buck yesterday afternoon at 2:30.
Thanked the good lord for such a fine animal.
There are many women I am jealous of because of the deer they end up bagging. lol
A few nights ago about 4:00 AM Mr GG2 woke up to what sounded like somebody on our deck. He grabbed a flashlight and his XDS .9mm and looked out the sliding glass door. A really nice buck was banging its rack against our fence post. He was wishing for his AR. 😉
Congrats.
Very nice. Congrats.
Around these here parts, the dummies just run over them. Not much trouble to pitch them in the truck and haul them to the processor.
I had a deer teleport itself right in front of my car one evening. Killed the large deer but little damage to the car. We didn’t feel even a bump.
Yeah.... they tend to do that at various times of the year. I hate when that happens, magic deer....er.... yummy venison.
I live on a suburban “deer walk” between grazing and sleeping areas. There are deer in our yard almost every day, waiting to cross the road. Some of them accidentally fall in to our freezer. Almost always have pot roast leftovers in the fridge. It’s a lot of work, but with beef so high...
