Vermont is one of the most vaccinated states in the country and has served as a model for its COVID-19 response throughout the pandemic. But now, the state is experiencing its worst COVID-19 surge yet, with several factors -- including its own success -- to blame, officials said.
In Vermont, nearly 72% of residents are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 -- more than any other state, according to U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data. At the same time, it has the 12th-highest rate of new COVID-19 cases over the last week, state data released Tuesday shows.
Vermont has seen a "significant" increase in COVID-19 cases in the past week, Mike Pieciak, commissioner of the state's Department of Financial Regulation, said during a press briefing Tuesday.

I have been going to stores unmasked. Safeway, Home Depot, etc. Most people are wearing masks. I make sure to greet everyone I see without a mask.
Obviously the people who are not vaccinated are getting covid. That is to be expected.

They are a cure for Wuhan flu hysteria, not a vaccine for the flu.
Hysteria sufferers who get the vaccine overcome their hysteria, drop their precautions and get the flu.
The success of the vaccinations is measured by the number of vaccinated who get the flu.
CDC: No Record of Naturally Immune Transmitting COVID-19

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says it has no record of people who are naturally immune transmitting the virus that causes COVID-19.
The federal health agency was asked during the fall by a lawyer on behalf of the Informed Consent Action Network for documents “reflecting any documented case of an individual who: (1) never received a COVID-19 vaccine; (2) was infected with COVID-19 once, recovered, and then later became infected again; and (3) transmitted SARS-CoV-2 to another person when reinfected.”
SARS-CoV-2 is another name for the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19.
Persons who recover from COVID-19 are also known as naturally immune.
In a response dated Nov. 5 and made public this week, the CDC said it does not have any documents pertaining to the request.
The CDC confirmed to The Epoch Times that its Emergency Operations Center did not find any records responsive to the request.
ABC doesn’t explain why the unvaccinated were spared last year at this time, when cases were about 10-15% of this year.
What is new is that deaths involving COVID have been increasing in Vermont recently, compared to this same time last year (at which time, of course, no one in the state had yet been vaccinated). Today, according to the CDC, 81.5% of that portion of Vermont's population age 12 and older has been fully vaccinated. For those residents of Vermont age 65 and older, the percentage of fully vaccinated is 98.2%.
And so what do we see in Vermont, in terms of recent trends? Well, in August 2020 (again, when no one in the state had yet been vaccinated), there were 0 deaths involving COVID. In September 2020? Again, 0 deaths involving COVID. In October 2020? Yet again, 0 deaths involving COVID.
And this year? In August 2021, there were 17 deaths involving COVID. In September 2021, there were 44 COVID deaths. In October 2021, there were 38 COVID deaths.
The 44 deaths involving COVID in September 2021 was the second highest monthly total for the state since the pandemic began, some 20 months ago (surpassed only by the 67 COVID deaths the state incurred in December 2020). Notable, too, in September 2021, the state's "all cause" mortality "expected death" percentage was 144%, by far the highest since the pandemic began (with the 119% figure registered in February 2021 being the second highest).
When it comes to COVID deaths, Vermont seems to be going backwards.
In pre-vax 2020, in September and October, daily cases in Vermont were between 5 and 20. In November they rose slightly, to about 25-30 a day.
This year, with 70% vaccinated, daily cases in September and October rose to 100-350. In November, they have ranged from 200 a day to 600 a day.
Last year, there were two deaths in this period. This year, there have been 80 to 100.

ABC knows, but....like a good arm of the DNC....won’t report, on that.
My figures were rough estimates based on the graphs in Worldometer. But you can easily see the big difference between 2020 and 2021, with 2021 being much worse.

And they are scared spitless of the virus.
They are living in terror of it. No more indoor dining at some restaurants.

At this point, nothing would surprise me.
I have some that are heavy and very stiff.
They don’t fit snugly on my face at all.
It gives me good ventilation so I can breathe.
That makes sense. The vaccinated are roaming around willy-nilly this year where as last year they were all hiding in their houses. So more people are going to get covid-19.
It’s all good though. Herd immunity is on the way. The lockdowns were just bad public policy preventing the inevitable.
