Well, my wife had sepsis in the knee 9 years ago. She was on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks (after emergancy surgery to clean out the knee).

She had nothing wrong with her immmune system.

She got the bacterial infection from an injection in her knee and it just escalated very rapidly, within a couple of days she was in pain.

I’m sure AIDs patients are susceptable to just about any infection, but a lot of sepsis is the result of surgery or injuries, even a scratch.

U no "grock" sepsis FRiend. Your wife's knee was septic, ie. infected. sepsis is a whole different animal. Localizing it to the knee means it was not sepsis, rather it was septic. That SIS means everything rather than a thing.
