I have to disagree. Going to the rally in DC in support of Trump should be encouraged. Going into the Capitol building through broken doors or windows should not be. We need to separate the two events.
In some cases, everything has to be taken together, however - people who were outside the building got pushed around, knocked down stairs, pepper-sprayed, etc. It was a total setup. Nice people go to DC trying to have their voices heard are going to get their heads knocked in one way or the other. Go to DC and you give them an excuse to do whatever they want to you and if it’s not the cops beating on you it’s auntyf4gs. If you believe the vote was rigged, then what else won’t they do? Getting jailed isn’t the way to make sure the NEXT election isn’t jacked, too. I hope those people aren’t still in jail by the midterms but I wouldn’t wager against it, on the other hand.
I mean, I don’t think all protest is bad. But protests can be rigged, too.
