It made for a good laugh a few months ago when Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), a particularly fierce critic of former President Donald Trump, indicated she wasn't ruling out a run for president in 2024. Her actions as of late have only fueled further speculation that she really is going for it. On Tuesday night she not only publicly railed against Trump before a large audience, but she did so in New Hampshire. As the first primary state, even just stepping foot there can get people talking.
Now that she's delivering campaign-style speeches in New Hampshire, which party does Liz Cheney reckon she's going to run for the nomination of? Perhaps some new independent formation whose platform is nothing but "Remember, Remember, the Sixth of January"?

While the congresswoman claims to be a "conservative Republican" and said "I disagree strongly with nearly everything President Biden has done since he has been in office," somehow Trump, who is no longer in office, is the bigger problem.

A story on Gateway Pundit says that Pence aides are offering to help the Jan. 6 commission in order to hurt Trump.
Liz Cheney would be just as popular in the Republican primary as Kamala Harris was in the Democrat primary in 2020, if not more so. Too bad her father was not a mailman so she would have something to talk about.

I live in GA but first half of my life was in Indiana. It is a wonderful state and Pence seemed to be a good pick for Trump to make.
When the chips were down and the right thing to do... it wasn’t a hard choice....
But
Pence and Kemp both were at the cross roads.. both could have done the right thing.... and today gas would not be going up up.. and we could afford oil. And no Americans would be behind enemy lines, and 13 servicemen would be home for Christmas, and American citizens would not be in prison. And millions would not be in our country illegally via s border, and the world would not be seeing an old man mumbling and making us a weak land.

IIRC they have open primaries. Liz is banking on Dems keeping it close enought to cheat.
Many hardcore conservative states have open primaries. This guarantees that squish candidates like Lindsey Graham get elected.
She will have to run with Adam Kinzinger. They are doing this because they delusionally think that if they run, they can’t be charged with crimes. They know Trump is coming back and they will be going to jail for treason!
They've worked in plenty of others over the years too.
Every election there are vanity candidates who never get anywhere. That's her next time. She probably has a more serious job prospect in mind, but a short campaign would give her publicity, visibility, and finding.

If the election were tied, and my vote would mean the difference between her winning and Biden being re-elected I’d vote for the guy shitting himself in public. Cheney could do nothing to ever, ever get me to consider voting for her after her treachery. I will even vote for the most imbecilic homophile liberal first.
She’s about as likeable as Kamala.
WOAH, Hillary and Liz look mighty alike in those pics. I’ll tell you why Liz is going to run. She knows she doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning anything. That’s not her motive. She wants to join in on the primaries so she can attack Trump on every televised debate stage, and attempt to verbally harrass and tear him down so he will hopefully from her viewpoint, lose in the general election.
She will nip at his heels at every debate, attempt to verbally joust with Trump, and try to elicit a response from him that could then be used against him by the MSM and Dems. She will be a stalking horse going out to dirty Trump up throughout the primary season.
She doesn’t care if she wins or loses (as her father says) “big-time”. That’s not what she is in it for; she just wants to layer her own particular brand of hate onto Trump and the primaries will give her a platform to do it on. She’s another real sicko anti-Trumper of 1619 Project quality. So here she comes folks, ready or not.
