If the cabal got anyone in the Trump Cabinet to even dare consider such a thing, I would think it would have been either months earlier, or else Someone who feared Trump would run again and wanted him incapacitated, so they themselves could run.
We forget how Republicans despised him and how FEW supported the FORENSIC AUDITS. His unfathomable successes shamed them. He rolled over them all.

I predict Pompeo is going to say he asked for analysis of the arguments for the 25th Amendment so that he could better represent his opposition to using it by those pushing for it and he will point to many other occasions when he, many times in his political career, including long before Trump was president, asked for analysis of laws opposed to and in favor of things he supported or opposed because he want to be better prepared to argue his position.
