But I see your point — George Washington was communicating well with higher people, when voters were intelligent and educated. You seek a “communicator” who can speak in short sentences and with a small vocabulary to the complete idiots who vote today. I hope you can find someone to explain complex ideas to the simple brains of the low people.
It’s not just the less educated who are looking for easier to grasp writing.
If you posted Washington’s Farewell speech here on Free Republic, I wonder how many people would read it in its entirety.
Social media point us to countless stories to read and YouTubes/Rumbles to watch. They all compete for our attention.
Now one contemporary of Washington was Thomas Paine. I think his writing style and way of explaining ideas would appeal to people today.
