In the case of our government, they make policy and then cherry-pick and shoehorn the “science” to support it. If you haven’t figured that out by now, you haven’t been paying attention.
Tourist town on the Oregon Coast here. Our small critical care hospital (only 13 beds) has beds available.
According to the article the reinfection rate is 0.001 %
My son went to ER Nov 9th and had to stay in a bed out in the corridor. He saw beds lined up in all the corridors he saw.
My son went into the hospital, but I was not allowed in, because of COVID. There was a police officer at the door to enforce the rule. If I was part of a news crew, I doubt they would let me in. Videos from a camera phone? I don't understand why the media won't use those videos. Maybe the hospital confiscates them if one is caught using them. Then there is the legal matter of privacy and 'Videos Not Allowed in Hospital" prohibitions.
