The Soviet Union had bad weather between 1917 and 1989. This tended to negatively affect their wheat crops.
But sometimes the real reason something fails is that the Basic, Underlying idea of the enterprise is just flawed and unworkable.
Send Biden! His wind is wet!
Why do we not hear anything about ocean-wave power? One flash-in-the-pan set of reports, then crickets.
Maybe, just maybe, surface wind speeds are low because there are all of these giant windmills all over the place slowing it down...
Or perhaps surface wind speeds are just lower than the BS assumptions they made when they came up with the production estimates necessary to justify their boondoggle projects.
Obviously, we need a LOT more wind turbines to make up for the lack of wind. Plus, we need more government subsidies for the manufacturers because of the rising costs to build these monstrosities.
Suck it up, taxpayers.
These fools want worse weather so that their windmills will be more efficient! Why don’t they concentrate on eliminating darkness so that the solar panels will be more efficient? Seems logical to me!
The whole “renewable energy” thing was a dumb idea. You can’t use something like this & not realize that there may be times of low winds, high winds, or not enough sunlight. To rely on conditions that will make these things work is sheer stupidity; done at the public’s expense of course. We need only one kind of electrical power...sure & steady 24-7. Renewables won’t do it.
