American History - The Pilgrims learned of socialism’s dangers: Why can’t we?
In the case of the Pilgrims it came to a point where it was either live or die, and they quickly decided to end this failed experiment. In our case the effects of pain is not bad enough yet for people wanting to change. The only time people are willing to change is, when something severely impacts their pocket books or their health and we are not quite there yet.
Sadly, I have to agree with your comment.
Too few people do not remember the mistakes of the past, and must repeat the same mistakes, to learn.
