Watch the video, and watch the parent comments in the live chat stream. Especially nearing the end, you observe that Officials are not addressing the questions posted to them in the Zoom Chat, that there is increasing frustration on the part of parents watching the meeting that the Officials are doing all the talking, that there's nearly no sense of it being any actual sort of Town Hall meeting, at all; that parent's voices are NEVER heard, and what among their posted questions were taken up were not directly addressed.
We MUST stand with each other and ensure that rejection of this course of action is resoundingly established.
Government Officials need to be thoroughly apprised that -- whatever our choices for ourselves -- We, The People DO NOT CONSENT to the usurpation of parental authority over the health and welfare of our minor children under color of law.
The meeting extends an hour, so I don’t expect most to sit through it, but definitely “step” through the video timeline and scan the Live Chat. The level to which parents felt condescended to is fairly palpable.
OK. So, I’d like to ask a quick favor:
Click through to the YouTube video, look at how many comments are posted, and ping back with what you see.
I’ve posted several Comments, one is missing and the comment counter still shows Zero.
The video is the kind of condescending “We know better than you do” fare thrown out by PTB to stonewall parents trying to navigate the minefield of bureaucracy and protect their children.
Would be nice if you’d tag it with a downvote, while youre on the page.
