Pure BS. Every female over the age of 10 in my family shoots regularly. And most of our friends do as well.

Lightweight. My wife handles a Ruger 454 Casull with Hornady 300 gr @ 1500 FPS just fine. She was a bit surprised shooting the T/C Encore with a .308 barrel (14 inch) and a 168 gr round. She didn't hold the fore-end tight enough and had a barrel smack her in the mouth. For Valentine's day, our range had the Glock G18 for rent. Full auto 9mm. We split a box of 50 rds. She actually put most of her round on the paper. Full-auto is a different experience. For all of that, not a word about "trauma". Mostly an ear-to-ear grin handling a variety of firearms.

She said: "I used to think that firing a gun was no big deal, and I see it in shows all the time. But after firing a real gun, you will know how seriously anti-narcotics officers treat guns and you'll respect their profession more." She works and lives in an environment of make believe, and yet still thought firing a handgun was no big deal. This illustrates just how out of touch the acting profession is with the real world.

Libtards are amazed at real world, common sense things many of us have learned and done since early childhood.
But they then go on to libsplain to everyone, like everyone is as ignorant and uneducated like they were.

“At that moment, I understood the might of a gun. It was really terrifying!”
The headline says she was Terrified from firing a real gun.
It seems from the article that she “learnt” the proper way to handle guns and treat them with respect, hear how loud they are (I did the same with my kids for a few shots each time at the range), and she fired numerous times - so she couldn’t have been that scared, if at all.
But she did learn the “might” of a gun - and how serious guns are - and that they are “terrifying” in the amount of damage they can do.
Heh - I just came up with a saying based on some of my favorite song lyrics that has the phrase “love and respect”.
I treat my wife like I treat my guns - with love and respect.

I don’t see these comments as surprising coming from a Malaysian woman. Nor so they seem particularly anti-gun.

Jesseca added that even if the gun is not loaded, they have to cultivate the habit of pointing it to the ground to avoid a misfire.

Evidently they aren’t taught what a misfire is.
