Yes. And as I said, love 💘 your screen name. :)
I sincerely hope you never have to eat those words.
😃
Wrong, irrelevant analogy.
The bottom line is that people listen to those who sign their paychecks. If you work for Ford, who do you listen to, Ford management, or some clown who's buying at a dealer buying a Ford
Again the analogy is not relevant. Teachers pay ultimately come from parent tax payers who also vote. Teachers/school boards don't generate any income in their business.
The bottom line is that people listen to those who sign their paychecks
Teachers/school board workers paychecks come from parent tax payers who also vote.
That's why the Dems got clobbered at every level in Virginia. They even lost control of the congress too.
So, until parents understand that their names are NOT on the checks written to the schools, their control over those schools will be next to nothing, at best
Is that why these parents voted the Dems out at every level in Virginia?
They have the power and were quick to use it.
LOL...just brush off stuff when you’re caught. No problem!
“Is that why these parents voted the Dems out at every level in Virginia? They have the power and were quick to use it.”
Feel free to get back with me when Republicans are able to remove Leftist control of schools. But I’ll give you a hint, the Left controls the schools here in Texas DESPITE Republican control of the state (and often supermajorities) for the past 25 years.
So, go ahead and ‘celebrate’ our victories in your fantasy world. But, in the end, it is still GOVERNMENT paying for the schools and the people who run government (not the figureheads at the top) are the ones who determine what the real policy is - as we’ve seen in Texas, for over 25 years now.
You'd better read Youngkin’s acceptance speech.
It's in this post:
“We're going to introduce choice within our public school system. How about that, choice within the public school system. We're going to start with 20 charter schools, and we are going to make a down payment and close the gap on giving parents an opportunity to select where their kids go to school. Friends, we're going to embrace our parents, not ignore them. We're going to press forward with a curriculum that includes listening to parents’ input, a curriculum that allows our children to run as fast as they can, teaching them how to think, enabling their dreams to soar. Friends, we are going to reestablish excellence in our schools.”

That CRT nonsense is going nowhere.
Your analogies are not relevant to the topic on hand.
They needed to be dismissed out of hand.

See post #46 from me.

Again see #46.

In the real world, you Dems got clobbered on Tuesday. And I have been laughing at you since. You can't spin that no matter how hard you try.
And Virginia is not Texas or anywhere else.
Until the Left is ROOTED OUT of the schools, which would mean massive reforms, so that their form is unrecognizable today, CRT is here to stay. In the case of Republican governors, like Texas, they are simply burying it in the curriculums and then denying it exists. It is the word of angry parents versus the word of ‘educational professionals’, and guess who loses. So, for starters there needs to be an governor-appointed state-level board to determine what is CRT and what isn’t. I’ll let you know when I see one, perhaps in 50 years.
We have 25 to 30 governor offices, has ANY of them rooted out CRT. NOPE!!! How can one tell...because the media would go ape-shit in calling it out, as they do with every other attempted reform.
Remember the Texas Textbook Wars, they’re over now, the schools got around them with CSCOPE, and therefore the elected Republicans at the state level no longer have a say in what gets taught, which is why Common Core made it into Texas, DESPITE everyone at the state level thinking they could keep it out.
Yeah?
"Map: Where Critical Race Theory Is Under Attack
“As of August 26, 27 states have introduced bills or taken other steps that would restrict teaching critical race theory or limit how teachers can discuss racism and sexism, according to an Education Week analysis. Twelve states have enacted these bans, either through legislation or other avenues.”

What more ya got?
It will get them thrown off a high rise from a high rise building.
Won’t shed a tear.
May the entire UN go someplace very hot with the smell of brimstone in their noses.
Sanctimonious snobs.
Even worse than NY paying kids’ parents $100 to get these shots injected into their healthy/strong immunity systems ping.
Just evil.
Don’t all liberals do?
The men think with their crotch and leftist women are invariably angry and ugly.
I think that conservative women are just happier, taking care of their children, making meals for their families, being not just a kitchen wife, but also a bedroom wife.
The U.N. has NEVER had an independent audit of its books !
Money goes in; ..money goes out, but nobody is held accountable
or responsible as to where it goes.

They will if they follow the Beast.
Places ban the Bible and/or discourage preaching.
They seal their own fate while doing so. Leaving themselves wide open to accepting the anti-messiah. And receiving the Mark of the Beast.
Revelation 14:9-12
New King James Version
9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, (A)“If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his (B)mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself (C)shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is (D)poured out full strength into (E)the cup of His indignation. (F)He shall be tormented with (G)fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And (H)the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
12 (I)Here is the [a]patience of the saints; (J)here[b] are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

“What more ya got?”
You’re just trolling us, until you find a state that actually FIXED education, rather than these band-aids.
And just who is “us” then?
The determined, far left, Dem trolls and propagandists like you on FR?
Getting a bit personal there...sorry, Leftists do that when they lose. Thanks for the confirmation!
