Dwayne Johnson says he plans to only use rubber guns on all future projects.
“I can’t speak for anyone else, but I can tell you, without an absence of clarity here, that any movie that we have moving forward with Seven Bucks Productions — any movie, any television show, or anything we do or produce — we won’t use real guns at all,” Johnson told Variety.
“We’re going to switch over to rubber guns, and we’re going to take care of it in post. We’re not going to worry about the dollars. We won’t worry about what it costs,” he added.

Seems like a good idea. Afterall, they don’t use any real actors in his movies either.
There really is no reason to use working guns in a movie set.
Even before computer special effects, there was no reason to use working guns capable of firing live rounds. You can make prop guns that look exactly like the real thing but that can only fire blanks and that are physically incapable of chambering a live round.
With modern special effects, prop guns do not even need to be capable of firing blanks. The actor points a prop gun, someone off set says “bang” and the actor simulates the recoil from firing a gun (it’s called acting), then special effects adds the muzzle flash and bang in post production.

He s not too,bad an actor for the parts he plays, but he is a puke politically. He played a hit and part once that was pretty good. Not great, but pretty good.i thought anyways- I liked the doom. Movie too.
