I seem to remember Freeper got around that a couple of years ago by wearing a plain red baseball cap to jury duty. The judge was all pissed off because it looked a lot like a MAGA hat but had no lettering on it. And the guy was dismissed.

Seems to me that the joke and the red hat shtick just eliminates jurors that would be beneficial to a defendant who is innocent of phony STATE OF CORRUPTION CHARGES!
