I am a realist and seek the truth. To me the truth is neither negative or positive. It just is. How we react to the truth is what's important. My whole life people called me negative because of it. Having said that by all means enjoy this tiny victory. However soon the blush will be off the rose.
All in all it’s a win for everyone in the old dominion whether they will admit it or not. History will reveal more about these tumultuous times for our republic. BS. He should have lashed himself to Trump. Youngkin won despite putting off Trump. What I don't know is whether Youngkin did that because that is how he truly feels about Trump or did he knuckle under the GOP establishment. Either case is very troubling to me. We will never know....

The mistake I made for fifty years was accepting another RINO hack like this guy as a victory for conservatism. It isn’t, it is only more frog boiling in Virginia. Nothing will be rolled back, just different snouts at the Richmond trough for a while.

Every statement President Trump made supported Youngkin. Youngkin grabbed the NAGA voters then some more.

"I fought very hard to help the suburbs and did very well in that regard, but they want to build and do things. ... Trump also hit on "critical race theory," a phrase Youngkin and other Republicans have seized while protesting against what they see as anti-white curriculum in public schools. Youngkin has attacked McAuliffe for vetoing bills in his previous term as governor that would have allowed parents to opt their children out of lessons involving books deemed to have sexually explicit content. The book at the heart of that debate was "Beloved," Toni Morrison's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about the horrors of slavery.
"He actually said, 'I don't think parents should be telling schools what they should be teaching,'" said Trump, slightly altering a McAuliffe debate response that Youngkin has hammered him with in the race's closing weeks. "Well, that means all of those school boards that are instilled and installed are listening to a lot of angry parents. And we don't want that. We want there to be harmony and peace."
McAuliffe, whose team has been counting the number of times Trump has endorsed Youngkin in public comments, used Trump's involvement in the campaign's final days to reinforce his principal attack." - NBC

That’s Trump talking. Trump is fine. Despite what Youngkin said about Trump he did not ask Trump to come to VA. THAT TELLS THE REAL STORY. This will be exploited by the enemies of MAGA.
