TMZ reports that Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs has been involved in a “serious” car accident.
It happened in Las Vegas at 3:40 a.m. local time.
Per the report, Ruggs’s condition is currently unknown. The photos from the scene show massive damage to a pair of vehicles.

I doubt Ruggs has a DUI arrest, because it would have come out as a first round draft pick. However, that doesn't mean he hasn't done it before.

Ruggs was a very good receiver for Alabama. He is wrong here, but that doesn’t mean he was a bad draft choice.
Well, that is a good thing. Sad that his life was cut short, but glad to hear others lived as a result.
LOL- the guy is now charged with murder and even if he gets off the murder rap, he’ll be suspended by the league. Character off the field is as important as talent on the field when selecting players in the draft...

I agree. If he is truly guilty, the league will throw the book at him. The Raiders will probably cut him so as not to have to pay him. He got the big signing bonus which he spent part of on his ride that he just smashed to pieces and insurance is going to refuse to pay for it as he was DUI. He can expect a MASSIVE lawsuit by the family of the deceased lady who was killed. I think he can expect to go to jail for some period of time. I am not sure where he is from. Something tells me Montgomery, but don’t hold me on that. But, memory seems to tell me that, but then again I am over 70 and the old memory is not what it used to be, but NOT as bad as deadbrained little joey.
Double checked, yup, he is from Montgomery as I thought. Played for one of the high schools down that way.

It will be interesting, if he gets out in 18 months (young, minority, rich) and signs with either another team or goes back to The Raiders. Bet he doesn't get half as nasty a reaction as Michael Vick did.
