My sad truth is that I am a VERY boring person. Hubs is also boring and together we are the most boringiest people of them all.
Dolly has been cooking for us, but as soon as she came, the hubs and I went to the Auburn game. She was in bed when we came back. Then, Sunday morn, we went off to church. Came back and chatted, but didn’t do much. Then, I worked all day yesterday. I’m working today. I’m hoping to leave a bit early so we can visit and tour the area today. I finish work Friday. No more football games until our bowl game. So, there is a bit of time.
You can’t be the ‘Most Boring Couple’ as our kids have awarded us that title many years ago.
I bet you are like me and love having a “boring” life.
All that drama I tried to leave behind when I married my dear sweet husband.
Nothing wrong with boring. With working and all other life’s activities, it’s hard to be anything but. I’m sure Dolly is enjoying the rest.

I haven’t observed them doing cartwheels or jumping out of airplanes however
When you pass a certain age it is a blessing to be in a laid back n gentle household where intelligent conversation can happen but you don’t want it 24/7
I’ve appreciated just kicking back n napping a lot n getting some great RNR. I have never wanted or expected hosts to entertain me. There is cinema n books for that
They aren’t foodies like I am. Simpler n less. Embarrassed to find out their refrigerator has never been so full. Guess I’m cutting back 🤪
Someone up thread mentioned in references to depression/food having plenty of beans n mac n cheese. Wow. That would be two items high on my fav list
Their Pup Ragnar is wonderful. I’m totally smitten. He is very young, strong n energetic. I’m in prayer a way can be found for things to fall into place here. Not much time as they are leaving in a few weeks
Auburn is a wonderful community. And where have I gone the most in 4 days? 3 times to Winn-Dixie. Thus a full ready for about anything frig
Okay. Need to finish up dinner. Salmon(mike). Steak for Jem n Mike(if she shares🙀). Baked potatoes. Candied carrots. Caprese salad Jem doesn’t do carbs
