My great grandparents ate butter, bacon and other fatty foods. They lived to be 91 and 92. My opinion , it's not so much the fatty foods , it's the preservatives. Oh and great Gramp drank the vinegar when great Gram's homemade pickles were gone. That may have been a good thing.

Back then NOTHING was wasted. Great times. Miss them.
