The World Health Organisation (WHO) has approved Covaxin, the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Indian pharmaceutical firm Bharat Biotech Ltd, for emergency use, reports said on November 3.
The Technical Advisory Group of WHO, which met earlier today to decide on Covaxin, has recommended Emergency Use Listing (EUL) status for the vaccine, news agency PTI reported citing sources.

As an inactivated vaccine, Covaxin uses a more traditional technology that is similar to the inactivated polio vaccine. Initially, a sample of SARS-CoV-2 was isolated by India's National Institute of Virology and used to grow large quantities of the virus using vero cells. From then on, the viruses are soaked in beta-propiolactone, which deactivates them by binding to their genes, while leaving other viral particles intact. The resulting inactivated viruses are then mixed with the aluminium-based adjuvant Alhydroxiquim-II.[6][7]
vero cells are monkey kidney cells. Not fetal.
And it is an inactivated virus. No trillions of spike proteins being made in your own body all at once.
