In Austria, the screw of the corona measures could soon be massively tightened again. Above all, the unvaccinated are held accountable: If the burden on the intensive care units increases, they are threatened with lockdown.
Corona hammer in Austria: If the intensive care beds in the hospitals are 30 percent full of Covid patients, unvaccinated people have to go into lockdown! This was decided by the Federal Government around the new Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg (52) and the state representatives at a joint video conference on Friday evening. 30 percent occupancy rate corresponds to 600 intensive care beds in Austria.
The conference was convened due to the rising corona numbers in Austria. Subsequently, the Austrian Minister of Health Wolfgang Mückstein (47) said: "Tested would then only be allowed to leave the house in exceptional reasons". Exceptions are work or the purchase of everyday goods. What exactly the lockdown will look like, however, must now be looked at with experts. Chancellor Schallenberg added: "One thing is also clear: there will be no lockdown for vaccinated people." Both he and the Minister of Health repeated this sentence several times. The message was clear: get vaccinated, then nothing will happen to you. Mückstein became clear: "It's best to vaccinate yourself tomorrow!"

Someone who wanted to punch down on Austria and break up Schallenberg's 3-week-old goobermint coalition, could do so easily by repeatedly demonstrating how Austrian immigrants -- both legal and illegal -- are not held to any of these lockdown standards.

There has to be an unvaccinated person in the mix somewhere because immunocompromised vaccinated don’t get covid by sponteneous generation.
There are likely many unvaccinated who will never encounter covid. There are also those (like the meat processing plant folks in the US and some old folks homes) who insist on working and circulating in public even when sick, even when knowing they will infect others. Unfortunately, the majority get stuck with the behavior of a few inconsiderate idiots. From the mental cases to the narcistic who think that if I get sick everybody has to.
