Netflix's 'Colin in Black and White' shows a star athlete reaching toward Blackness
If you had any questions about where Colin Kaepernick's activist spirit originated, a look at Netflix's new limited series, Colin in Black and White, removes all doubt.
These days, Kaepernick is known as the ex-San Francisco 49ers quarterback whose decision to kneel during the national anthem in 2016 to protest racial injustice inspired others and kicked off years of conflicts. He became a free agent in 2017 and remains unsigned by an NFL team, a situation many analysts attributed to political blowback from the controversy sparked by his protest.

What a guy, bashes his white adoptive parents as well. Too bad he wasn't raised in Africa by a tribe, how dare those white people raise him.
A star player only in his first half-year. The Harbaugh offense is what carried him. Once opposing teams keyed on his tendency to scramble, they essentially shut Kaepernick down. His backers like to squawk about his QB stats, but much of that was amassed in garbage time after the 49ers had long lost the game. A QB “star” doesn’t end up his career with a 3-16 record in his final 19 starts and close it out as Blaine Gabberts’ backup.

His decision to kneel in 2016 was the kick-off of his new career as a paid activist, wallowing in the cash and camera-time of the professional poverty exploiters.
All you need to know can be summarized in two words.
Blaine. Gabbert.
He was benched for Blaine Gabbert. This is the reason no NFL team wants him. He is not an overly skilled Quarter Back.
The NFL has proven that they do not care about character. Rapists, murders, Methodists, tax cheats, child molestors, and wife beaters are all welcome if they have skills.
npr and Kaepernick
I wouldn’t watch it if you paid me.
And I usually like washed up athletes finding jobs after their careers, but being a professional black activist isn’t really a job.
You’re exactly correct! In fact, Krapnick’s parents were his only backers left as he knelt.
Some defensive back was caught in an airport by a sports reporter and asked about ck’s dilemma. The guy said, “Well, you can’t throw interceptions and think you’re going to keep starting.”
Half white, half middle eastern.. pretends he’s a black slave while earning millions. This guy is such a huge joke and he doesn’t even know it.
Not to mention he’s a massive hypocrite, he claims he’s Mr.Human rights yet he takes money from Nike and does commercials for them even though they use slave labor in China.
