Thanks FRiend. It looked like it.
Yes, carbs are the debbil! No doubt
I thought it was shampoo.
Swanson is hit-or-miss on quality, but they are probably a good source for this type of supplement. They frequently have 30% discounts.

I was on a meat and fat diet for about four years, heavy on the fat. My weight was great, but I ended up with gout. I started eating fatty vegetarian and gained 30 pounds.
Gout is a liver function. The liver oxidizes purine proteins into uric acid instead of converting them into glucose. I’m pretty sure I have ALDH mutations, and that one of them is on the RS-671 allele of the ALDH2 marker. It is associated with gout.
I theorized that my body would reduce the uric acid into ATP with exercise. The exercise has been only partially successful at doing that, but it has helped me control my weight. I’m just concerned about liver disease with the gout and the weight gain.
Bingo. You eat at McDonalds? Suffer the consequences. More whole grains, less sugar, no processed foods, stay away from soy, high fructose corn syrup. Increase your fiber intake with more raw vegetables, more olives and eat yogurt. I am still at my college weight of 170. And how about some exercise? Don’t forget mushrooms like shiitake.
The real problem is our lifestyle, we are too lazy to make changes.
Lower your acid foods intake, ie OJ and other juices. Worked for me.

I suggest you look for publications that measure the effect of orange juice on urine ph and bone health.
Orange juice keeps urine ph high and it’s really good for bone health.
Oranges are high in potassium citrate, which keeps blood potassium at a good level for some time.
I said “lower” it, not cut it out completely.
That is exactly what it is.
Go 14 hours without eating.
We have breakfast at 8:30 a very light something about 1:00 and dinner at 6:00. After that, nothing but water or unsweetened herbal tea.
Sometimes your body needs to reset.
And the 14 hours is about the right amount of time for ours to reset.
Yours may be longer, shorter or it may not work at all but what can it hurt?
Can you do a low carb diet? That should reduce your triglycerides quite a bit.
“This suggests that visceral fat deposition and fatty liver occurring with hypertriglyceridemia may have a common basis”
It’s called gluttony.
Yeah, I just chugged a bottle of shampoo and I don’t feel any healthier.

FWIW, I have an almost no fiber diet and it feels great. Movements are less frequent and smaller in volume, but everything comes out easy and my GIRD is gone. Had a prescription for Nexium daily forever...don’t need it.
“Stopping or reducing dietary fiber intake reduces constipation and its associated symptoms”:
“For no fiber, reduced fiber and high fiber groups, respectively, symptoms of bloating were present in 0%, 31.3% and 100% (P < 0.001) and straining to pass stools occurred in 0%, 43.8% and 100% (P < 0.001).”

Plain yogurt is healthy. Most people load it up with sugar (or buy it that way) and then it is as helpful as eating cake.
But I’ll add I don’t believe in “one diet for all”. I think people like myself, who were very fat as a kid, benefit more from keto than a lot of other folks do. I think mild intermittent fasting - just going 14-18 hours a day without stuffing one’s face - is very helpful for most.
There are ample studies showing vegan works and that, to me, is a critical point. Both Carnivore and Vegan can work, using opposite approaches. And if one looks at what both approaches share in common...getting rid of highly processed foods and simple carbs stands out.
I think I’d as soon be fat as eat Vegan, so I’m much closer to carnivore. Although I eat cheese, drink milk, eat eggs...and some folks say that means I’m a sinner! I also have a fondness for buttered veggies, so I eat them a couple times a week just for pleasure.
While most people tolerate pantethine quite well, the following side effects and cautions should be observed.
High doses of pantethine can cause increased bowel activity and diarrhea. Digestive disturbances may result. Pantethine may increase the risk of bleeding or slow clotting. Discontinue pantethine use two weeks prior to surgery. Do not take pantethine if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Pantethine should not be taken if you are taking any anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications. Some drugs to avoid when taking pantethine include aspirin, Plavix, diclofenac, NSAIDS, naproxen, ibuprofen, heparin and warfarin.
Why is there always a downside?
