This is interesting:

We estimated vaccine effectiveness at preventing infection (regardless of symptoms) with delta in the household setting to be 34% (bootstrap 95% CI –15 to 60).

For the data junkies, there were 125 fully-vaccinated and 40 unvaxxed folks, with 31 and 15 COVID19 infections, respectively. That means the infection rate for the vaxxed was 24.8% and for the unvaxxed was 37.5%. Thus, by being vaxxed, you had a 34% lower rate of infection.

The 95% statistical confidence interval for that 34% efficacy value was 60% and negative 15.
