The gun supervisor for the film "Rust," on which a crew member was killed after a gun held by actor Alec Baldwin went off during rehearsal, has no idea where the real bullet came from, she says.
Hannah Gutierrez was responding to "untruths that have been told to the media," a statement released Thursday night by her attorneys to NBC News said. So, this was during an “action” shot (and even if it wasn’t considering it’s Baldwin) he sure would not have pulled open the cover and clicked the cylinder beforehand... he just cocked and shot. whooeee. Whereas on a range, one would pick up a ‘peacemaker’ and open it up to check the cylinder before commencing fire.
No way would any normal trained gun owner do this— certainly wouldn’t take the word of an “armourer” idiot like this one. There is more to the story... has to be. Live rounds do not “end up on the table”.
Specifically who was “plinking” with a set pistol beforehand— sure the police will find the morons.

She may be totally innocent if locked out.

It’s her job to watch over the firearms. She’s liable. It was the ad’s job to check the gun with the armorer. He didn’t. He’s also liable. Baldwin didn’t check to see if the gun was loaded. He’s also the producer. He’s also liable. All three of them are at fault.
Nobody wants to take responsibility. They can always blame it on Trump if all else fails.

I’m a girl armorer and have a famous armorer dad who’s reputation got me to where I am
He absolutely knew there was live ammo out there as I have no doubt that Baldwin was one of the people shooting that gun with live ammo for target practice.
I would want an old grizzled vet who was in charge of a firring range when they were in the military to be the armorer on the set if I was producing anything were guns were in play.
