The gun supervisor for the film "Rust," on which a crew member was killed after a gun held by actor Alec Baldwin went off during rehearsal, has no idea where the real bullet came from, she says.
Hannah Gutierrez was responding to "untruths that have been told to the media," a statement released Thursday night by her attorneys to NBC News said. Santa Fe County Sheriff says Baldwin fired suspected live round on Rust set Santa Fe County Sheriff says Baldwin fired 'suspected live round' on 'Rust' set "Safety is Hannah's number one priority on set," reads the statement from attorneys Jason Bowles and Robert Gorence. "Ultimately this set would never have been compromised if live ammo were not introduced. Hannah has no idea where the live rounds came from." CNN reached out to Gutierrez's attorneys and the "Rust" production office Friday morning for comment.

This will become quite the circular firing squad.
(with no live ammo)
Wrong answer.
Single action revolver- it’s still Baldwin’s fault.
I don’t think she has very good attorneys.
I hope the gun and cartridges were secured by the sheriff. Fingerprints need to be taken. At the very least Hannah and Alex Baldwin need to be arrested for criminal homicide.
That in itself may constitute negligence, especially in light of statements from the crew that the revolver had been used for target shooting during off hours.
And yet, no one knew how to clear and check a firearm before handling it? Morons.
She is screwed
I think law enforcement should look beyond accidental shooting in this case.

An opportune time for use of the passive voice.
I think it will all come down to who’s finger prints are on the shell casings of the live ammo in the gun....I also think there is a distinct possibility that the live ammo on the set was placed there after the shooting to obscure responsibility.
The Sgt. Schultz response “I know nothing. I saw nothing”. Probably not going to work in this case.
I've been shooting for a long time and even if a trusted buddy hands me an "unloaded" weapon, I check.

agreed
And look at how did Baldwin get a real gun? I thought people with mental illness weren't supposed to get guns.
You had one job!
