Two teenagers were shot to death after forcing their way into a North Carolina home, officials said.
The Fayetteville Police Department said officers were responding to a home break-in at about 5 p.m. Saturday when a resident reported shooting two people who had gotten inside.
Both teens were pronounced dead at the scene, including a 17-year-old whose name wasn’t released because of his age. The other was identified as 19-year-old Hunter Markham, officers said in a news release.
Someone who lived at the home was also shot, though police didn’t say how. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and later released, according to officials.

Good thing. Wouldn’t want that following him for the rest of his life.
His mom has a Facebook page with family photos. No one appears to be “Bi-Racial.” He’s in a 2018 family photo.
Limited details tell us everything we need to know.
I’m sure the media will report they were looking for work boots that they couldn’t afford so they could apply for construction jobs.
If this were in California, the homeowner would be sitting jail on charges of murder.

California has a pretty good Castle Doctrine in their law.
Their gun law is quite bad. Their Castle Doctrine is decent.
Unrelated. Different names.
And to ask to borrow a couple of pairs of work boots, too, I’m sure.
You know it! I believe the $40K annual incarceration costs and the $250K annual criminal damage cost if not incarcerated figure are at least a decade old. Probably much higher now.

I could make a couple of guesses...
See my tagline. Looks like someone listened.
