If they can incapacitate this next generation before they even hit puberty, then their plans for population control will last for decades and be that much harder to overcome and take that much longer to recover from.
If by some chance these immunocompromised kids manage to make it to adulthood, I wonder if their kids will inherit any of that? That’s something I’ve been wondering about. It’s gene therapy, after all.
