My experience with Sikhs (graduate students) is that they are the salt of the earth. Fine people, but don’t cross with them. If you don’t mess with them, they’ll give you the shirt off their back or turban off their head. If you cross them, woe be unto you.
Been my experience too. Kind and generous people with strong
western compatible values (”Leave it to Beaver/John Wayne” values, not wokeism). Ignore the turban and knife and treat them respectfully and fairly and they will bend over backwards for you. Become a friend and they will surely invite you to share of their vegetarian meals. Honestly, the only vegetarian food I have ever had that I would ask for again.
Never had a problem with Sikhs...seem like generally fine people to me.
