We had one bin for flor and another bin for corn meal.
The 25 pound bags had hand/dish towels as a ‘free’ gift attached....................
Ours was a big divided tip out drawer. One side was flour the other for potatoes. I recall mom preparing dinner and asking us kids to get a certain number of potatoes. Those were the days when kids helped and behaved.....otherwise we’d hear hell fire from mom!
She used to buy detergent with free dishes.....ended up with two full sets of lovely dishes, including gravy boats and shakers. She was always very excited about it.
