I have never understood why heating oil (luxury deisel fuel) was still used so predominantly in the north east. I’m originally from the rural lower midwest and that is a heat fuel mostly of decades ago around here. Last time I remember it being used much was maybe back in the 70’s and the folks using it then mostly had what was older equipment even at that time.
A few use oil....mostly Natural gas here in Upstate NY.
The ones who pay for their own fuel or the people who use LIHEAP...?
The ones who get LIHEAP assistance will likely vote for Deep State.
