The ‘’media’ keeps trying to portray this as an accident, as in ‘the gun misfired’ and now ‘other people made a mistake and did not check the pistol’.
This is looking more and more like an intentional homicide.
Who brought the live round on the set? Who had access to the weapon once it was cleared with the armorer? Was there any tension between Baldwin and these people killed and injured?
It does feel like a Columbo episode.
Someone put a live bullet in the wrong place. Who had the motive to do that?
Yes, it could have all been an accident, but this one is a doozy.
And if this were any sort of complex homicide scheme, was the “right” person killed? Was there an expectation that Baldwin might fire his first blank at the (let’s say) the caterer because he always did that, because it always amused him to make the caterer jump? Did someone hate the caterer? and hate Baldwin? And did Baldwin deviate from his routine and fire his first blank at someone else?
Again: probably a simple, tragic accident, but you could see how this could be a plot to a TV mystery.
