Happy Sunday All...
I think it’s some sort of BB anniversary show, the lineup seems a mess and Murray can go suck an egg...Suspense and Jean Shepherd look good...
How are you?
Evening.
Hey, you feeling good?
The neuropathy is still flaring. I walk like an elderly ape. How far I recover is up in the air. The doc can’t do much for me at this point, I guess I’ll just have to ride the wave and see what happens. The other cat died last week, the grandma cat that was sickly. Connie put a rollout cot between the coffee table and the sofa for her, and slept on the sofa for four days to nurse her. Then, one morning, she checked on her, and she was sleeping. She went back ten minutes later, and she was gone. I just gave her a kiss on the nose and told Connie to get her ready so I could take her to the clinic for a private cremation. To add insult to injury, as Connie put it, the washer died that evening. My stepson had to come over to help move the thing because it was full of water and soggy clothes and we needed to get it into the garage to install the new one. Glad Connie has a credit account with Home Depot - feline cremation sets you back almost $200 apiece and we’ve had two in one month. We’ve got the money, but it digs a trench into the accounts every time something else happens. Then a third cat got sick from anemia and spent three days at the clinic for treatment. She actually got hypothermic to the point where they had to put a heat lamp on top of her kennel, and she’s been so traumatized over it, she won’t get out of the bottom shell of the pet carrier, except to eat and use the litter box. Hope you’re faring better.
Sorry to hear all that. Things are good here. The price of crab meat is through the roof.
I know. I’m trying to get enough groceries to last at least a week or two when I shop, and the sticker shock is mind-boggling. As much as I like crab, they don’t do them like we do up there, so what little is carried here I overlook. Finding a steamed crab is impossible; the closest you come here is a bag of frozen Snow or Dungeness legs. I can say the price of beef is sky-high. I went past a local grocery joint a couple days ago, and they have a digital billboard that was flashing. ‘NY Strip $6.99/lb’. I damn near rolled my crossover making a U-turn. LOL
Hi, Guys! I missed the thread yesterday, away from the computer.
Viking, I’m sorry about your kitties!
