I don't see how. Baldwin was producer, so he either hired her, okayed her hire, or negligently failed to ensure she was qualified. The less qualifies she is, the worse Baldwin looks.

Now way for him to come out of this looking good.

It certainly is. Three stories today and counting. One look at the pic with Reed, Baldwin, and a wheelbarrow full of guns should tell us that firearms safety on the set was lax at best but she didn't shoot anyone and Baldwin, who hired her, did.
