That's the one thing I'm certain of.
But one thing did strike me IMMEDIATELY. And that is the family (I believe firstly reading it about the foreign family--the victim's parents) specified they had spoken to Alec. The way they said it however was more dismissive as if to say, "What a nice man. He had no culpability here."
And yes I'm sure Alec was contrite and extremely distraught and kind when speaking to them.
But Alec IS the star on this film and Alec unfortunately fired the gun and killed her. At a minimum a civil case should be considered against him. I just felt uncomfortable that they were so quick to forgive and act themselves with sympathy towards Alec. And although I do appreciate the kind heart they displayed and the not jumping to conclusions and running to attorneys as we so often see these days, I felt they needed to be a bit more wary of Alec overall.
Although once they start speaking to an attorney, I think Alec will find he will be sued by someone here at a minimum. With all those children and the expensive, narcissistic wife, he's going to be very happy about his residuals from 30 Rock.
