Why would Baldwin even point a gun at anyone that wasn’t an actor?

If the cinematographer and/or director were trying to place him for a front angle shot, it might have happened. What was he doing with the finger on the trigger? Even blanks can cause damage at close range.

There is NEVER an excuse for pointing any gun, real or prop, at anyone who is not ACTING the part of the target as scripted.

She may have been in the background. What if they were directly behind the actor he was shooting to get a particular angle?

It may even have been a “point the gun directly at the camera” type shot and he’s a lousy shot.

He probably has no clue about gun safety.

She was also an extra for the street scenes when they needed people milling around in the street.

_______________-
Baldwin is a stupid liberal that doesn’t know a thing about firearms. Regardless, someone needs to explain how a live round got in the gun on a movie set.

If the cinematographer is behind the camera and the director is next to the camera directing and Baldwin is firing at the camera for that camera angle...it’s easy to see how they got shot.

Movies aren’t like plays. The narrative is created in the editing of various shots. It’s easy to envision the scene calling for a shot of the character in the act of shooting.
