You can thank the Clintons, Loral and Bernard Schwartz for this.
We’re number TWO???
With biden in charge we are at least number 6 after the French.
Let’s go, Branden ! ! !
I read this and both the original Financial Times articles
I am still still unclear how the laws of physics are being violated.
Maybe some of the Lenr guys could help out here.
One guy quoted as saying “government scientists were struggling to understand the capability, which the US does not currently possess,”
does not mean that Laws are being Broken or that the China people did it.
The fact that the China Global times then ran with it means that it is probably fake news and all BS
It didn’t fall in a day, either.
heck if I know. I think Musk’s reuseable rockets ‘defy the laws of physics’ too, but I’m easily astounded by space stuff
The lowly, commonplace BOOSTER rocket failed, not the hypersonic vehicle itself? If that is true, it is very bad. Or is that disinformation about the booster?
Don’t believe this for a second. The defense industrial industry is just looking for a payout. They won’t tell you how many hypersonic launches were successful before this week, just that the first one after a public shaming was not and that means we need to shovel money to big defense all year long.
Thanks Bill and Hill.
It’s just bullshiite. The Chinese tell some stupid journalist sumthin that makes the Chinese look good and it’s not that difficult to tell them stuff that they don’t understand so it “defies the laws of physics”. Pure nonsense and disinformation.
So is General Milley on the phone to the “Chinese Generals” now? Are we going hear more BS from the State Dept, and from Milley about this?
Again a second report of Chinese missile test from unnamed sources.
Bkmk
'tis the season.
Apparently the concept isn’t a pipe dream.
How the DoD plans to meet its ambitious hypersonic missile test schedule
The Defense Department has been jointly developing the body that will serve as the base of its offensive hypersonic missile. The test marks a significant step forward in accomplishing that mission amid mounting criticism that the United States is behind China and Russia in hypersonic weapons development.
Not for a second.
