I don’t support prison for murderers. It’s supposed to be humane, because — you never know — they could be innocent, and it would be just awful to have an innocent man die needlessly.
Well, have a look. The guy murdered in 1989, and here we have an innocent man die needlessly. If they had executed the guilty guy, no more innocent lives would have been lost.
I support the death penalty and broad use of it.
Also for prosecutors who send an innocent man to their death, and any ‘witnesses’ who lie to send someone to jail.
I am surprised he was even sentenced to 40 years let alone served 30. Usually you see a 5-10 year sentence.

Agree, but per the Left and many GUILT-RIDDEN conservatives, it is better to have 100 murderers on the loose killing others, than have the state possibly execute the wrong person (although almost always a person with a less-than-stellar criminal history, anyway).
