Meghan McCain says her late dad's 2008 VP pick Sarah Palin was 'set up for failure' by his campaign team and she hopes ex-Alaska governor finds 'redemption'

...

In her 2010 book, Dirty Sexy Politics, she described Palin as a 'time bomb' and 'somebody who leaves a wake of confusion and chaos -- to the point of dizziness -- wherever she went.

'Yet McCain said her views on Palin have shifted.

'I have a whole new lens of viewing how Sarah Palin was treated and how the people working for my father's campaign really, you know, in my opinion, treated her really horribly, set her up for failure,' McCain told Hannity.

No kidding. "The View" reject on Hannity. Lindsay not available that night?

Well, Tucker used to have a thing for the Liberal Sherpa gal, until she sued hi for sexual harassment. Then he had Tulsi Gabbard on all the time, thankfully he worked thru that. If you're good, you don't need many guests, ask RUSH.

Is her daddy’s funeral still on tour or did they finally bury him?

We all knew this. But to have it admitted is astounding.

AND.... More people voted for Palin than that angry bitter man. I would say at least 4 to 1.

McCain knifed America in the back so not surprising he did the same to Sarah Palin.

Never listen to or watch Hannity.

Ok... but in this interview, I’ll at least give him credit for asking the question that got McCain to admit that Palin was treated horribly. Beyond that, it wasn’t worth watching and it sure makes me wonder why Hannity asked the question and why McCain answered it in what actually came across as a fairly candid way. Somebody has an agenda....

Set up question. It was agreed before the “interview”. The real question is why did she answer it honestly?

“McCain ran a weak campaign in 2008. He refused to make an issue of Odumbo’s 20 year membership in Jeremiah Wright’s church of hate, or his closeness to Louis Farrakhan. There’s NO WAY Trump would have missed this.

Correct.

I’d say rehabilitation purposes. She was fired or had to leave The View, her family hatred of Trump, she needs to be relevant so she starts her rehab tour to affirm her Republic chops.

I’d say giant fail.

Palin was the only reason I plugged my nose and voted for McCain.

I voted for them because I vote Republican. I am think most of their voters did the same. Palin didn’t hurt the campaign — no Republican could have won the presidency that year and McCain made more than his share of mistakes — but she wasn’t as popular as some people think.

This is wild, get this, Congressman Don Young (88 years OLD) in Alaska has an (open) primary challenger, Nick Begich III, grandson of the his dead namesake and nephew to the defeated rat Senator (and also nephew to a current rat State Senator).

Nick 3 is lifelong Republican, calls himself a conservative who is “probably a little to the right of Don”.
