I noticed withholding in my first paycheck while working part time as a high school junior. If adults don’t at least have the smarts of a 16 year old, how are they going to get upset?
And what about the half of workers who either end up owing nothing or get free money? Are they going to get upset?
Not only end withholding, but require the full amount of tax owed to be paid on November 1st ...right before the elections. Tax reform would quickly follow.
