I’ve been advocating for this for 25+ years. I am convinced if everyone had to do this, there would be a tax revolt.
And best we’d have to cough up thousands of dollars at once, rather than the quarterly supposedly existing before this.
People need to realize how much they’re being taxed, rather than hiding it invisible as a ghost. And not thinking they’re getting some kind of bonus when all it IS is a refund for paying too much, not “lottery winnings”.
I am the same as you, been talking about this for years. If the tax man came to everyones door once a quarter, the people would revolt. Or at least be way more curious as to where their tax dollars were going.
