I understand the point you are making. I just wanted to the FR population know the reasoning that is being used.
Really. And the “capital crime” is what?
Too bad she didn’t rape any little girls like Hunter Biden. Then the USAF would welcome her on AF2 and serve drinks.
It’s not a reason. It’s an excuse.

“Apparently that’s what happens to an uncharged, unconvicted military veteran, that made the mistake of supporting the actual President of the United States.”
Had she lived, she most likely would have been ratted out by a family member, neighbor, friend or acquaintance. Then when sitting in jail or out on bail, she’d find out like hundreds of others who’ve been arrested, that she had no outside support and would then agree to a plea deal in which she pleads guilty to a lesser offence.
Is there any question as to what happened to her?
indeed. she gave many gifts that day, may her dear mother take some comfort.
innocent blood—given without fear, innocent blood, watering the Tree of Liberty—does not return to it’s giver—or her people—void.
tyrants beware.
It’s the only option that may actually apply. Another possibility is that Babbitt did not receive an Honorable or a General Under Honorable Conditions discharge.

Not as far as I'm concerned, having seen the videos many times, including zoomed and in slow motion.
But I do find it curious that they had her cremated so quickly, without any input from or consideration to her family.
When Congress goes over to the GOP, there should be a demand from the Air Force Chief of Staff as to why they refused. The closest thing would be Item #3, however, she was not found to have committed nor was she convicted of a capital crime. An example of #3 would be an individual who was charged with murder, but committed suicide before the trial. As she was never charged with a capital crime the Air Force should have held a funeral and the Officer who denied the funeral should receive a letter of reprimand from Congress effectively ending his or her career.
Item 3 specifies capital crime.
Uh, not Capitol crime.
“ Your attempt to turn her into a George Floyd won’t work. Move on.”
I did not see any attempt to make the honorable, patriotic veteran into a drug addled miscreant who ingested 3x the fatal dose of illegal drugs laced with fentanyl prior to dying after a lengthy and combative encounter with police.
The Republicans didn’t honor her.
Do I have to scream this? Where was “Use Of Deadly Force Authorized” in red letters prominently posted? It is around nuclear weapons where I was armed and lived by the warnings. If I shot an unarmed civilian there I still would have had to defend it for the rest of my life. This was a bad shoot. To the “she went through the window” crowd please feel free to shove that up your rectums. Sorry ladies, that is the nice version.
DIAF and then rot in the sun asshole.
I should add that around the nuclear weapons our chances of encountering a civilian of any kind was near zero. I’m pretty sure that the Capitol Police had a greater chance of dealing with interlopers who weren’t armed. My guess is they should have trained for that eventuality often.
Were her ashes returned to her family? If not, maybe in future they could set up a cenotaph (marker where there’s no body) and have a memorial service at that time.
As a mom, I am horrified that she was cremated without consulting the family.
PRECH IT BROTHER!
You are a traitor-tell me why.
Vindman ring any bells?I-got away with it.
I did not see any attempt to make the honorable, patriotic veteran into a drug addled miscreant who ingested 3x the fatal dose of illegal drugs laced with fentanyl prior to dying after a lengthy and combative encounter with police.-Both died. neither will come back.
As a mom, I am horrified that she was cremated without consulting the family.-You got something there but will the rats in power do anything other than blow you off?
Ashok Babbitt was murdered. Her murderer needs to be charged with homicide...
