i think most shortages are going to be seasonal and involve foreign made goods that come in shipping containers. Groceries aren’t going to be particularly effected unless its by hoarders.

I would suggest you better understand the grocery supply chain and the sourcing for foods, and their ingredients. Then look at wheat and corn prices and better understand the impact on farming.
