Before Slick Willy sold us out for campaign cash they couldn’t get anything off the launch pad, much less target the USA.

That’s correct! No president prior to him had ever done such a thing.

CHINA ARMS DEALER GUEST OF CLINTON
David Jackson and Mary Jacoby
CHICAGO TRIBUNE
December 21, 1996

https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1996-12-21-9612210093-story.html

“Wang was brought to the White House by Charles Yah Lin Trie, an Asian-American restaurant owner and longtime friend of the president.

“On Friday, the Democratic National Committee made documents available showing that Trie worked closely with then-DNC fundraiser John Huang in soliciting at least $390,000 in contributions to the party.

...

Questionable and foreign-linked donations to the Democratic Party came to light in the fall, as Clinton campaigned against GOP nominee Bob Dole for the presidency.

...

The son of former Chinese Vice President Wang Zhen, Wang is an executive with China International Trust & Investment Corp., the country’s biggest investment company. He also is president of China Poly Group-Poly Technologies Inc., an arms-trading company that intelligence officials say is owned by the People’s Liberation Army, China’s military.

Democratic National Committee officials apparently asked the White House to clear entry for Wang at the Feb. 6 reception, and White House spokesman Mike McCurry said a background check normally conducted for foreign visitors was not done on Wang.

...

...Huang was the DNC contact for the controversial fundraiser Vice President Al Gore attended at a Los Angeles Buddhist temple last April.

Again, questions were raised about whether temple-goers—who take a vow of poverty—had given their own money after one of the donors told a reporter that someone she didn’t know handed her $5,000 in cash and asked her to write out a check to the party.
