Close open stuff
Open terminal

sudo rm /etc/apt/preferences.d/nosnap.pref
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd

sudo reboot

sudo snap install auto-cpufreq

Done.

OMG, that’s awesome. I didn’t know you could completely block snapd from getting installed just by having this file.

/etc/apt/preferences.d/nosnap.pref
