Hospitalizations and deaths are all that matter.

But… but…. but… both the Deep Staters wanting perpetual controls/mandates/restrictions and the anti-vaxxer jihadis deeply love the concept of “cases”. You want to deprive them?
OK. So read the rest of the article then!
I agree that deaths are really all that matter. Per the data reported out by the National Center for Health Statistics, last month (September 2021) in the U.S., the total number of deaths involving COVID was some 160% higher than in September 2020 -- i.e., 49,765 in September 2021 compared to 19,138 in September 2020. A month to month comparison, so no confounding from the "seasonality" phenomenon.
Of course, the country was less "locked down" this past month than it had been been in September 2020. So there's that. But, at the same time, while millions of Americans had been vaccinated as of last month, no one had been vaccinated in September 2020. And yet deaths have gone up. Way up. Curious.

Yea, but the more cases, the more spreading and...wait for it.....the MORE DEATHS.
You vaxxed superspreaders need to be put in those Australian vaxentration camps because....
We're all in this together.
: )
I’d be happy if they could or would just provide an actual test that specifically identifies COVID with enough accuracy to rule out other illnesses that could be mislabeled as COVID.
When I see those charts showing the flu cases dropped from millions to a few thousand in one year, it’s patently obvious there has been a lot of misdiagnosis happening.
It’s not like the symptoms for COVID are so specific to COVID alone that an accurate diagnosis of COVID can be made by symptoms alone.
Then, maybe, we’d actually get an accurate case and death count.
A falsehood that has been circulating around FR for months.
Here’s the thing. Are vaccinated people, thinking they are protected, being more careless than unvaccinated people and therefore becoming infected at a higher rate?
